6 best ZeroRank alternatives when one workspace isn't enough

By Joonas Rotko, ex-agency co-owner, 10+ years spending real marketing budgets

Prices verified · How I choose, and how I earn from this page

If you track three brands, I'd start with Otterly.AI. Standard runs 100 prompts daily across unlimited workspaces, with API and MCP, for $189/month billed monthly. On ZeroRank, Starter has 1 workspace and each workspace tracks one brand of your own, so a second brand means Growth at $199/mo. Prices checked 23 Oct 2026.

Each price below covers three brands, each with a working prompt list, on three AI engines:

  • Three brands
  • A working prompt list for each
  • Three AI engines

Who this is for. Owners and consultants with two or three brands who like ZeroRank Starter but don't want to pay for Growth just to add a workspace.

My picks for different needs

What a second brand costs on ZeroRank, and what the others charge

ZeroRank sells room for brands as workspaces, and a workspace holds one brand of your own plus the competitors you watch. Starter at $39/month billed monthly includes 1 workspace. The next plan, Growth at $199/month billed monthly, jumps to 10 workspaces and a budget of 13,500 AI answers a month, far more than three brands need. The pricing page shows no plan in between and no extra workspace to buy.

What you gain

  • A plan sized for three brands: all six picks cover three brands for less than ZeroRank Growth each month.
  • SEO tools in the same plan with SE Ranking, which adds keyword rank tracking and site audits to daily AI tracking.
  • Half the bill with Rankscale, which keeps ZeroRank's 17 engines on a $99/mo plan for 10 brands.

What you give up

  • ZeroRank's 17 AI platforms on every plan. Only Rankscale matches that count; the others track four or five engines on the plans priced here.
  • White-label dashboards and automated client reports, which ZeroRank adds on Growth. Rankscale Pro and LLM Pulse Growth don't include white-label.
  • Article generation: Growth writes 12 articles a month. Only AIclicks among the picks writes more, with 15.

When to stay. Stay if you'll use what Growth adds beyond room for brands: white-label dashboards, 12 articles and 12 content optimizations a month, and a budget of about 150 daily prompts on three standard models. Move when the only reason to upgrade is a second or third brand.

The tools side by side

Each row is the plan I priced for three brands, with the brands it holds, its prompts and how often it checks them.

Rankscale: I priced Pro. Rankscale sells credits, and Pro's allowance covers three brands checked about every other day.

SE Ranking: I priced Core. SE Ranking counts projects rather than brands, and Core's projects and shared prompt list hold three brands.

Six picks, in the order I'd consider them

Each one says who it is for, what it costs for three brands, and what you give up.

Best overall ZeroRank alternative for several brands

Desk research

Choose it if

Each brand needs daily numbers and you want an API or Looker Studio for your own reports.

Consider AIclicks instead if

You also want articles written and a lower yearly price.

Why it fits three brands

Standard runs 100 prompts daily across unlimited workspaces, so three brands share one prompt pool with room to spare. It includes unlimited seats, API, MCP and Looker Studio, with 7 days to try it without a card.

The plan I priced

Standard costs $189/month billed monthly, falling to $160/month billed annually.

Closest alternative

SE Ranking becomes the better choice when you'd also use rank tracking and audits, and one seat is enough.

Above 100 AI prompts: Standard with +100 extra search prompts (+$85/mo billed annually).

The trade-off

It covers ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude as paid add-ons, so it tracks far fewer engines than ZeroRank. There is no article writer.
What my review says

Best for: A ZeroRank user with several brands that all need daily data and an API.

Skip it if you rely on ZeroRank's wide engine list.

Strengths

  • Unlimited workspaces on Standard.
  • Daily runs, API and Looker Studio.

Limits

  • Four engines, the rest paid add-ons.

Lowest bill for several brands

Desk research

Choose it if

You want ZeroRank's wide engine coverage for two or three brands and can live without a daily run for every prompt.

Consider Otterly.AI instead if

Each brand needs fresh numbers every morning.

Why it fits three brands

Pro covers 10 brands on 17 engines with unlimited seats, MCP, Looker Studio and 50 page audits a month. Prompts are unlimited, and each query on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Mode costs 0.25 of a credit, so you decide how often each brand runs.

The plan I priced

Pro costs $99/month billed monthly, falling to $84/month billed annually.

Closest alternative

LLM Pulse becomes the better choice when you want a fixed prompt count and weekly runs are enough.

The trade-off

Three brands' prompts on three engines use about 56 credits a run, so Pro's 1,200 credits cover roughly 21 days of daily checks, or every other day for the whole month. Claude queries cost more, and Pro has no API.
What my review says

Best for: A ZeroRank Starter user adding a second or third brand who wants to keep wide engine coverage.

Skip it if you need daily runs for every prompt.

Strengths

  • 10 brands on one plan.
  • The same engine count as ZeroRank.

Limits

What three brands really costs

Bars are monthly costs on yearly billing, except LLM Pulse, shown month to month because its extra project is billed monthly.

Rankscale: priced on Pro. Rankscale sells credits, and Pro's allowance covers three brands checked about every other day.

SE Ranking: priced on Core. SE Ranking counts projects rather than brands, and Core's projects and shared prompt list hold three brands.

Dollar prices, per month (billed annually where sold)

Pay monthly or yearly?

What yearly billing saves on the same plan.

  • Otterly.AI$189 monthly, $160 yearly: 15% less
  • SE Visible$99 monthly, $79 yearly: 20% less
  • Rankscale$99 monthly, $84 yearly: 15% less
  • SE Ranking$129 monthly, $103.20 yearly: 20% less
  • AIclicks$189 monthly, $140 yearly: 26% less

When you'll outgrow the plan

The first limit you hit, and the next plan up.

  • Otterly.AI: above 100 AI prompts, Standard with +100 extra search prompts (+$85/mo)
  • SE Visible: above 3 brands, Core (+$72/mo)
  • AIclicks: above 150 AI prompts, Business (+$217/mo)
  • LLM Pulse: above 3 brands, Growth with 2 x +1 project (+$59/mo)
How I calculated this

Workload: Three brands, A working prompt list for each, Three AI engines.

Each tool is priced on the cheapest plan that holds three brands and their prompts. SE Ranking and SE Visible count projects, LLM Pulse adds an extra project to reach three, and Rankscale sells credits, so its card says how often the credits run.

Other options, and why they missed the list

I kept the list to trackers that cover three brands for less than ZeroRank Growth, with the brand, project or workspace limit published on the plan.

    • Superlines logo

      Superlines

Pro covers exactly three brands with daily runs and articles, but it costs the same figure as ZeroRank Growth in euros, has no API and keeps two months of history.

    • Promptwatch logo

      Promptwatch

A strong daily tracker, but three brands need Business at about three times the price of ZeroRank Growth.

    • Peec AI logo

      Peec AI

Unlimited seats and an official MCP server, but Pro stops at two brands and Advanced costs more than double ZeroRank Growth.

    • Rankshift logo

      Rankshift

Unlimited brands and seats on Starter, but daily runs for three brands need Professional, which costs more than ZeroRank Growth.

    Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this page are affiliate links, and I earn a commission if you buy through them, at no cost to you. Commissions never change a price or a verdict. Otterly, Rankscale, SE Ranking, AIclicks and LLM Pulse have affiliate links. SE Visible and ZeroRank do not. The order follows how well each tool covers three brands for less than ZeroRank Growth.

    How this guide was prepared

    What I did

    • I priced three brands with a working prompt list each on three AI engines, the multi-brand workload from my AI visibility guide, and set each plan against ZeroRank Growth, the cheapest ZeroRank plan with room for three workspaces.
    • ZeroRank's docs describe a workspace as the home for one brand of your own and its competitors, so I counted workspaces as brands.
    • SE Ranking counts projects rather than brands, so I priced Core on its project and prompt limits. Rankscale sells credits, so its card shows how often Pro's credits can check three brands. LLM Pulse is shown on monthly billing because its extra project is a monthly charge.

    What to keep in mind

    • ZeroRank prices by an answer budget, and higher-cost AI models use more of it, so a heavy model mix changes how far Growth goes.
    • Prices change without notice, so check each vendor's page before paying.

    Questions people ask

What is the best ZeroRank alternative?

Otterly.AI, if you track more than one brand. Standard runs 100 prompts daily across unlimited workspaces, with API and MCP, for $189/month billed monthly. For the lowest bill, Rankscale Pro costs $99/mo, and SE Ranking Core adds rank tracking and audits for $129/mo.

Is there a cheaper alternative to ZeroRank?

For one brand, ZeroRank Starter at $39/mo is already one of the cheaper trackers. For two or three brands, SE Visible Basic at $99/mo, Rankscale Pro at $99/mo and SE Ranking Core at $129/mo all cost well under Growth at $199/mo.

    How much does ZeroRank cost?

Starter is $39/month billed monthly, Growth $199/mo and Agency $499/mo, or $33/mo, $169/mo and $424/mo a month billed yearly. Enterprise is custom. Every plan tracks the same 17 AI platforms with unlimited seats.

How many brands can I track on ZeroRank?

One per workspace. Starter includes 1 workspace, Growth up to 10 and Agency unlimited. Each workspace holds your brand plus the competitors you track.

How does ZeroRank's answer budget work?

Each plan includes a monthly number of analysed AI answers: 2,400 on Starter and 13,500 on Growth. Scheduled and manual checks share it, and higher-cost models use more of it. On three standard models, Starter's budget covers about 26 prompts a day.

Does ZeroRank have a free trial?

Yes. Every ZeroRank plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can run a full report on your domain before entering a card. SE Ranking gives 14 days without a card, SE Visible 10 days and Otterly 7 days without a card.
