Is OpenSEO right for you?
OpenSEO is an open-source SEO platform that pulls its data from DataForSEO and connects to AI agents through MCP. It covers keyword research, backlinks, rank tracking, site audits and AI visibility checks.
The hosted plan is $10 a month and includes $10 of usage credits. Top-up credits never expire, monthly credits reset each cycle and Search Console data costs no credits. Its own example costs are about $0.05 per keyword search, $0.08 per backlink check and $1.09 per ChatGPT brand check.
It fits developers and small teams that use SEO data occasionally and work through an agent. It fits poorly for heavy daily research, where per-action costs can exceed a flat subscription.
