SE Ranking has two public plans. Core costs $129 a month, or $103.20 a month billed yearly, and Growth costs $279, or $223.20 billed yearly. Enterprise is custom. Both plans include rank tracking, keyword and backlink research, site audits and AI visibility tracking, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that needs no card.

Billing, extra costs and terms
The published subscription price is not necessarily the total cost. Check the terms that affect your actual workload, expansion and cancellation before you migrate.
Annual billing is 20% cheaper but paid upfront, and SE Ranking says payments are non-refundable unless the service wasn't delivered. Use the 14-day trial before paying for a year.
The trial runs with smaller limits than the paid plans: up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day and 20 AI prompts a day.
Only one person can be logged in to an account at a time. Shared logins get kicked out, so budget for seats or use guest links for view-only access.
The Agency Pack ($69 a month) and extra API credits ($45 a month for 3 million) are sold on annual billing only.
Extra keywords start at $22.40 a month on Core and $32 on Growth, so a growing keyword list can cost more than you expect.
What does SE Ranking really cost with add-ons?
For most small businesses, the real cost is the plan price: Core at $129 a month, or $103.20 a month billed yearly. It already includes rank tracking, research, audits and 100 AI prompts tracked daily.
If AI search visibility matters most, the AI Search add-on adds 200 prompts and access to SE Visible, SE Ranking's separate AI tracker. Core plus AI Search costs $218 a month, or $174.40 a month billed yearly.
Agencies that send white-label reports need the Agency Pack at $69 a month, sold on annual billing only. Core plus the Agency Pack comes to $172.20 a month and Growth plus the Agency Pack to $292.20, both billed yearly.
Every extra manager seat starts at $16 a month. A two-person team on Core pays $129 plus that seat, still far below Growth's $279.
Is SE Ranking worth the price?
For a small business, yes. At $129 a month, Core tracks 2,000 keywords daily across 10 projects. Ahrefs Lite costs the same $129 for 750 tracked keywords and 5 projects, and Semrush's SEO plan costs $139.95 for 500 keywords and 5 projects. On rank tracking capacity per dollar, SE Ranking is clearly ahead.
I ran SE Ranking's Website Audit on one of my own sites: it crawled 964 pages, scored the site 92 and listed 1,676 issues by priority, from one error down to 1,038 notices. Core covers 250,000 audit pages a month, far more than a small business site needs.
It's not worth it if you only want to check a handful of keyword positions now and then, or if you need paid-search and advertising research in the same subscription, which is Semrush's ground. And if AI visibility is the only thing you track, a dedicated tracker such as SE Visible starts at $99 a month.
How to pay less for SE Ranking
Pay yearly. Annual billing takes 20% off, which is $309.60 a year saved on Core and $669.60 on Growth. Annual plans also include free assisted migration from your current tool.
Start on Core and upgrade only when a limit actually bites. You can move between plans from the billing settings at any time, so there's no reason to buy Growth for capacity you might need later.
Add a single seat instead of jumping to Growth when only one extra person needs a login.
