The Verdict

Is Searchable right for you?

Searchable tracks your brand across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, then hands you an AI agent that turns that data into content briefs and technical fixes. The catch: nothing on this platform starts under $125 a month.

Searchable is an AI search optimization platform that monitors brand mentions across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, then uses an AI agent to turn that data into content briefs, technical fixes and reports. It's built for brands and agencies with a real AEO budget, not solo operators testing the waters.

Whether the $125/month entry point pays off depends on how much value you place on getting MCP, API access and content generation bundled into every tier instead of locked behind an enterprise plan.

Searchable bakes MCP and API access into its cheapest plan, which is rarer than it should be in this category, but at $125/month it prices out anyone who just wants to check where their brand shows up in ChatGPT.

Why I'm covering this

Searchable bundles MCP and API access into its base $125/mo Pro plan, rarer than it should be in this category, and pairs that with an AI agent that drafts content and technical fixes, not just a tracking dashboard.

Who It's For

The right fit (and the wrong one)

Best for

  • +
Ecommerce Brands Tracking AI Shopping Mentions The AI Shopping feature tracks product visibility inside AI-generated shopping recommendations, useful for brands watching conversational commerce take shape.
  • +
Agencies Running Multiple AEO Clients The Scale plan's 10 projects, white-label reports and dedicated account specialist are built around managing several client accounts at once.
  • +
Teams Already Living in GA4 and GSC Native integrations pull Google Analytics and Search Console data so you can line up AI visibility against actual traffic and pipeline.
  • +
Marketers Who Want an API/MCP Foundation from Day One MCP and API access ship on the Pro plan, not gated to the top tier, so anyone building automations gets programmatic access immediately.

Skip this if

  • Solo Bloggers and Small Sites A $125/month Pro plan is a lot of tool for someone tracking a handful of prompts on one domain. Cheaper single-site trackers exist.
  • Brands Needing Native Claude or Copilot Tracking Claude, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek are custom add-ons rather than default coverage, so full-model tracking costs more than the sticker price suggests.
  • Budget-Conscious Startups There's no low-cost tier to grow into. You either commit to $125/month or look elsewhere while you're small.

Features

What can Searchable do?

The Searchable Agent is the feature that sets this apart from a plain visibility dashboard. Instead of just showing you a chart of mentions across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, it's built to answer plain-English questions about your data and, with the newer Plan Mode, work through multi-step tasks on its own. That's a meaningfully different pitch than most trackers in this category, which stop at reporting and leave the 'now what' to you.

Content Studio is the second pillar. It generates blog posts, landing pages and product descriptions aimed specifically at getting cited by AI engines, pulling from your brand's data and tone rather than generic prompts. Article caps scale by plan (20/month on Pro, up to 200/month on Enterprise), so how much this actually replaces a content team depends on your output needs.

Technical audits round out the toolkit, flagging schema markup gaps, crawlability issues, and content structure problems that affect how ChatGPT and Perplexity parse your pages. This is closer to a lightweight technical SEO audit reframed for AI engines than a full crawler like Screaming Frog, but it's a reasonable starting point if you're not running separate technical SEO tooling.

What's genuinely notable is that MCP and API access are included from the Pro plan, not reserved for Enterprise. That matters if you're trying to connect AI visibility data into Claude, a custom dashboard, or an internal agent workflow. I've written more on how MCP, API and CLI access actually differ for marketers if you're deciding how much this matters to your stack.

UX & Support

Is Searchable easy to use?

Searchable's public API reference is unusually detailed for this category, covering endpoints for share of voice, sentiment history, GA4 and GSC data, citation tracking, and even ad-frequency data in AI answers. That level of documentation suggests a platform built with technical users in mind, not just marketers clicking through a dashboard.

Support is tiered by plan: Pro gets email and Slack support, Scale adds an onboarding session and dedicated account specialist, and Enterprise/Custom get dedicated specialist support with an SLA. There's also a public Slack community for users to compare notes, which is a good sign for a platform still building out its reputation.

I have not run Searchable hands-on, so treat the vendor's own docs and case studies as what they are: the vendor's account. The documentation is unusually specific for this category, which is a decent proxy for product maturity, but it is not the same as watching the dashboard behave under a real workload.

Searchable's Pro plan starts at $125/month ($100/month billed annually), Scale runs $400/month ($320/month billed annually) and is marked as the most popular option, and Enterprise is $999/month ($799/month billed annually). Custom plans are quote-based for organizations needing fully customizable prompt tracking, all AI models, and SSO. Annual billing knocks 20% off any plan, and Pro comes with a 14-day free trial requiring no credit card.

What you get for that Pro price: 100 tracked prompts per model, 9,000 AI answers analyzed monthly, 20 articles, 200 site audits, one project, plus MCP and API access. Scale multiplies most of those numbers by roughly 4-5x and adds white-label reports, Looker Studio, and a dedicated account specialist. Enterprise scales further still with unlimited projects.

The value case hinges on whether you'll use the bundle. If you need tracking, content generation, technical audits and API access all in one subscription, $125/month for Pro isn't unreasonable given what's included. If you only need visibility tracking, you're paying for a lot of unused capacity compared to single-purpose trackers in this category.

Downsides

What's wrong with it

!

No plan under $125/month

There's no lighter tier for solo operators or small sites, which puts Searchable out of reach for anyone testing AI visibility on a small budget.

!

Core engine coverage stops at three models

ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity are the default set. Claude, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek require custom add-ons, mostly relevant to Enterprise and Custom plans.

!

White-label reporting is Scale-and-up only

Agencies on the Pro plan can export reports but can't brand them, which limits Pro's usefulness for client-facing work.

!

Content and audit caps scale with price

Pro's 20 articles and 200 audits per month can run out quickly for content-heavy teams, pushing them toward Scale sooner than expected.

!

Premium support is gated to higher tiers

Pro gets email and Slack support only. A dedicated account specialist doesn't show up until Scale.

Buddy's Take

None of these are dealbreakers if you're running AEO at agency or brand scale with a budget to match. But if you're comparing tools purely on entry price or need every major AI model tracked out of the box, Searchable's structure works against you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity are tracked on every plan. Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek are available as custom add-ons, mainly relevant on Enterprise and Custom plans.

Pro starts at $125/month ($100/month billed annually), Scale is $400/month ($320/month billed annually), and Enterprise runs $999/month ($799/month billed annually). Custom plans are quote-based for larger organizations.

Yes. MCP is listed as included on every paid plan, from Pro through Enterprise, which is unusual since most competitors in this category gate MCP to their top tier.

Yes. API access is included from Pro upward, and Searchable's public documentation lists a wide range of endpoints covering share of voice, sentiment, GA4/GSC data, citations and more.

Yes, Searchable offers a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan, and no credit card is required to start it.

Only from the Scale plan and up. Pro includes exportable reports, but not white-label branding for client deliverables.

Yes. Its Content Studio produces blog posts, landing pages and product descriptions aimed at AI citation, with monthly caps that scale by plan: 20 articles on Pro, 80 on Scale, and 200 on Enterprise.

Honest and easy to read: three public tiers, unlimited seats on all of them, and a toggle that defaults to monthly instead of flattering itself with the annual rate, which is rarer than it should be. Two things cap the score. There is no free plan, so $125 is the real entry ticket, and the engine list on the cards greys out several models that only arrive as custom add-ons, so the tracking you pictured may cost more than the sticker.

Searchable is built for agents rather than retrofitted for them. Modern auth (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, no pasted keys), a genuinely broad tool surface, and the detail that matters most on this site: MCP and API sit on the entry plan, not behind an enterprise upsell. Read-only by default with scope-gated writes is the right security posture too. The only reason to hold back a point is age: the surface is newer than the vendors it competes with.

Getting out is a scripting job rather than a support ticket, which is the right answer. Exports are on every plan, the API and MCP read essentially everything you can see, and you can stay on monthly billing if you want to keep the exit cheap. The one thing to note is 12-month retention on Pro: if history matters to you, either export on a schedule or budget for Scale.
