The Verdict
Is Aiso right for you?
Aiso is an AI search optimization tool with an unusual foundation: instead of only running synthetic prompts, it taps a consent-based panel of real human-AI conversations to show what people actually ask AI about your category.
It tracks how often your brand appears, with what sentiment and ranking, across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, and surfaces the real buyer prompts behind that visibility. Founded by Ben Tannenbaum, it is early in its life but built on a data angle worth paying attention to.
The most interesting data source I have seen in the AI-visibility category. Aiso's consent-based panel of real human-AI conversations means you are looking at what people genuinely ask, not just prompts you guessed, and each prompt is run ten times to capture answer variance.
The developer story has changed for the better: there is now a first-party REST API and a hosted MCP server with 16 tools, both on one account API key. The honest caveats are maturity and access terms. Five features are live with seven still marked coming soon, and Aiso lists API and MCP access on Enterprise for brands, or the $705/mo agency Scale tier, rather than on the self-serve plans.
For teams that value unique conversation data, it is worth a 14-day trial.
Aiso is self-serve and public for brands: Starter $89/mo, Pro $215/mo and Advanced $445/mo , plus custom Enterprise . Yearly billing saves 15%, and the toggle on Aiso's pricing page opens on yearly, so $76, $183 and $378 are annual per-month rates. Agencies price separately from $215 to $705. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and no free forever plan.
Who It's For
The right fit (and the wrong one)
✓Best for
- +Demand and content teams The Conversation Explorer surfaces real buyer prompts with intent classification, which is gold for planning content that answers what people actually ask AI.
- +Brands obsessed with real signal The consent-based panel of real human-AI conversations is a different source from the synthetic-prompt approach most rivals use, and that difference is the whole reason to look at Aiso.
- +Early adopters comfortable with a young tool If you like getting in early on a product with a clear data edge and a visible roadmap, Aiso rewards that, with the usual caveats of an early-stage tool.
- +Enterprise teams wiring visibility data into agents The REST API and hosted MCP server let agents and pipelines pull Aiso's conversation intelligence directly, on one API key. Both sit on the Enterprise tier for brands, or agency Scale at $705/mo.
✗Skip this if
- −Teams needing a full feature set now Five features are live; the schema generator, content engine, benchmarking, alerts and more are still listed as coming soon. If you need the complete toolkit today, Aiso is not there yet.
- −Self-serve teams that need the API The REST API is documented and live, but Aiso lists API access on Enterprise for brands. On Starter, Pro or Advanced, the Apify actor (pay-per-run) is still the programmatic path.
- −Anyone needing high-volume agent access The hosted MCP server is real, but keys default to 10 requests a minute and 20 a day. That suits scheduled reporting pulls, not an agent querying interactively.
- −Buyers chasing the lowest price At $89 a month to start, Aiso is not the cheapest way to begin tracking AI visibility, and the API and MCP server sit on Enterprise rather than the entry tiers. The data is differentiated; the price of admission is not low.
Features
What can Aiso do?
Aiso's pitch rests on one idea: look at what people actually ask AI, not what you assume they ask. It draws on a consent-based panel of real human-AI conversations, sampled from a database of over 10 million, and runs each prompt around ten times to capture how much the answers vary. The Conversation Explorer then lets you browse those real discussions for your category, classified by intent and language, while the AI Mention Tracker shows how often your brand appears, with what sentiment and at what average rank.
That data foundation is the reason to care. Most AI-visibility tools fire synthetic prompts they designed and watch the answers. Aiso starts from genuine human conversations, which is a meaningfully different signal for content and positioning. The Fan-outs and GPT Trends feature extends this by showing how a single prompt spawns hidden sub-queries, the questions behind the question, which is useful for mapping the real shape of demand.
Now the honest part. Aiso is still filling out. Five features are live (Conversation Explorer, Fan-outs and GPT Trends, AI Mention Tracker, Crawlability Audit, Third-Party Source Mapper) and seven are still marked coming soon, including the schema generator, content engine, competitive benchmarking and alerts. The developer side is no longer the hole it was: there is a first-party REST API at app.getaiso.com/api/v1 and a hosted MCP server at app.getaiso.com/api/v1/mcp, both on an x-api-key header, with 16 MCP tools covering projects, prompts, brands, snapshots and the report endpoints.
What to watch is where they sit on the price list. Aiso puts "API & MCP access" on Enterprise for brands and on the $705/mo agency Scale tier, and keys default to 10 requests a minute and 20 a day. So the surfaces are real, but on Starter, Pro or Advanced you are still reaching for the Apify actor.

Is Aiso easy to use?
Aiso is built to be readable by marketers: browse real conversations, see where you rank, plan from there. Support is email on Starter and priority from Pro upward, with a dedicated success manager on Enterprise. For an early-stage product, responsive support matters more than usual, since you will hit rough edges.
Because the roadmap is visible and seven features are still coming soon, treat Aiso as a tool you grow with. The data is usable today and the developer surface now exists, but the surrounding workflow features are still arriving, so set expectations accordingly.

Aiso Pricing Analysis
vs. 26 AI search visibility toolsBelow median for AI search visibility tools
Cheaper than 61% of AI search visibility tools on That Marketing Buddy's database.
Aiso keeps pricing public: Starter $89, Pro $215 and Advanced $445 a month for brands, plus custom Enterprise, with yearly billing saving 15%. One thing to catch on the page itself is that the billing toggle opens on yearly, so the first numbers you see ($76, $183, $378) are annual per-month rates rather than what you pay monthly. Agencies get a separate ladder: Essential $215, Growth $445, Scale $705 and a custom Comprehensive tier.
A 14-day free trial with no credit card lets you test before paying, and there is no free forever plan.
Starter at $89 covers the live core: 50 tracked prompts, 3 AI models, one project, unlimited users, daily tracking and email support. Pro at $215 takes you to 150 prompts, two projects and multi-country tracking at three per project. Advanced at $445 adds 350 prompts, five projects, Looker Studio and the advanced dashboards. The line that decides the tier for a lot of technical teams sits above all of them: "API & MCP access" is an Enterprise feature for brands, and appears on the agency ladder only from Scale at $705.
Value depends on how much you prize the data. At $89 for five live features, Aiso is not cheap next to trackers like Otterly at $29. What you are paying for is the real-conversation panel, which nobody else offers in quite this form. If you also need programmatic access, price that in honestly: Peec ships MCP from $95 and Otterly from its Standard tier, while on Aiso the same capability means an Enterprise quote or the $705 agency tier.

No free forever plan, but there is a 14-day free trial with no credit card required . Paid pricing is public: Starter $89/month , Pro $215/month and Advanced $445/month , plus custom Enterprise, with yearly billing saving 15%.
Three public brand tiers plus custom Enterprise: Starter $89/month (50 tracked prompts, 3 AI models, 1 project), Pro $215/month (150 prompts, 2 projects, multi-country tracking) and Advanced $445/month (350 prompts, 5 projects, Looker Studio). Yearly billing saves 15%, bringing those to $76, $183 and $378. Agencies have their own ladder: Essential $215, Growth $445, Scale $705 and a custom Comprehensive tier. Watch the toggle on Aiso's pricing page, which opens on yearly rather than monthly.
Aiso is built on a consent-based panel of real human-AI conversations , sampled from a database of over 10 million and run about ten times each for variance. That shows what people genuinely ask AI about your category, a different signal from the synthetic-prompt approach most AI-visibility tools use.
Yes, both. There is a first-party REST API at `https://app.getaiso.com/api/v1` with `x-api-key` authentication and endpoints for projects, prompts, brands, snapshots and the brand, domain and URL reports, plus a hosted MCP server at `https://app.getaiso.com/api/v1/mcp` that works with Cursor, Claude Desktop and other MCP hosts with no local install. Default limits are 10 requests a minute and 20 a day per key. One caveat the docs do not mention: Aiso's pricing page lists "API & MCP access" on Enterprise for brands, and on the $705/mo agency Scale tier. The Apify actor (about $10 per analysis) and a WordPress crawler-analytics plugin are still available as alternatives.
Partly. Five features are live and usable now (Conversation Explorer, Fan-outs & GPT Trends, AI Mention Tracker, Crawlability Audit and the Third-Party Source Mapper), and the developer surface shipped too, with a REST API and hosted MCP server. Seven features are still marked coming soon, including the schema generator, content engine, competitive benchmarking and alerts. Buy for what is live today rather than the roadmap.
Four public brand tiers plus separate agency pricing, with a clear 15% yearly discount. Two things to watch. The pricing toggle opens on yearly, so the $76, $183 and $378 you see first are annual per-month rates, not the real monthly $89, $215 and $445. And API and MCP access is an Enterprise line item, so the developer surface is not part of any self-serve brand plan.
Agent-native on both sides now. The data is real LLM conversations, and there is a documented way for an agent to reach it, through the hosted MCP server or the REST API. The remaining limits are commercial rather than technical: programmatic access is an Enterprise line item for brands, and self-serve tiers track 3 AI models rather than all of them.
Export got considerably better. There is now a documented REST API covering projects, prompts, brands, snapshots and the brand, domain and URL reports, so you can pull your own data into your own warehouse instead of exporting by hand. The limit is who can reach it: API access sits on Enterprise for brands, or the $705/mo agency Scale tier.
