Recommendation
Which plan should you choose?
At $39/month with 1,000 pages and 4,000 messages, Starter covers a single small-to-medium site without paying for API access or integrations you won't use yet.
API access only starts at $79/month, so if your workflow depends on programmatic control or AI-agent integration, Growth is the actual entry point, not Starter.
Weekly auto-refresh and daily auto-scan at $259/month matter if your site changes often and you can't manually re-train the bot every time.
HIPAA eligibility and a custom BAA only show up at the Enterprise tier, so healthcare or similar use cases need to go custom regardless of chatbot volume.
Annual billing brings Starter down to $23.40/month, a 40% saving that makes sense if you're confident you'll stay under 1,000 pages and 4,000 messages long-term.
Editorial
My take on SiteGPT pricing

The jump from Growth to Scale is the number that jumps out at me. You go from $79/month to $259/month, a $180 leap for one more chatbot, 30,000 more messages, and daily scanning instead of monthly. Compare that to the Starter-to-Growth jump, which is $40. That's not a smooth pricing curve, it's a cliff, and if your usage sits right between those two tiers you'll feel it.
What I do like: Growth is where the API access lives, at $79/month. For a tool that markets itself on CLI, API, and MCP server support for AI-agent workflows, gating API access behind the second tier (not Starter, not Enterprise) is a reasonable line to draw. If you're evaluating SiteGPT specifically for programmatic control or agent integration, Growth is the realistic entry point, not Starter.
The 40% annual discount is one of the more generous ones I've seen on a chatbot tool, and it applies uniformly across all three published tiers. But there's no free plan and no money-back guarantee, so the 7-day trial is doing a lot of work. Seven days is enough to test message limits and page training, but not enough to see how the chatbot performs after a month of real traffic and edge-case questions.

Verdict
Is SiteGPT Worth the Price?
SiteGPT's pricing makes sense for a business running a single site with a defined content library and predictable message volume. Starter at $39/month is competitive for a chatbot that trains directly on your website content, and the 40% annual discount rewards commitment without hiding the base rate. Where it gets harder to judge is the Growth-to-Scale jump.
Paying $259/month for 3 chatbots and daily scanning is a big ask if you only need what Scale offers because Growth's monthly-only refresh isn't fast enough. A team with 2-3 sites that update often will pay more per chatbot than a team on Starter with one static site. There's no free plan and no refund policy, so the financial commitment starts on day one after the trial ends.
If your use case fits cleanly into Starter or Growth's limits, the pricing holds up. If you're stuck needing Scale's refresh speed but not its full chatbot count, you're paying for headroom you might not use.
