How this review was prepared

This is a research-based review. I checked FinSEO's current pricing page, product pages and MCP documentation, then assessed what those published limits mean for a buyer. I have not presented vendor claims as personal testing.

The Verdict

Is FinSEO right for you?

FinSEO is a German AI visibility tracker. It monitors how brands appear across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI systems, and adds source attribution, bot traffic analysis and content tools.

The pricing page now shows public prices: Starter €84 a month for 50 prompts, Business €210 for 150 prompts and Growth €479 for 350 prompts, with Enterprise on request. All plans list unlimited seats and MCP access, and Starter has a 7-day free trial.

It fits agencies and teams that want many seats and an assistant connection. It fits poorly if you want an API on a lower plan, since API access is listed on Growth.

Who It's For

Who FinSEO is for (and who it isn't)

✓ Best for

  • +
Teams that need unlimited seats. The pricing page lists unlimited team seats on every plan, so adding colleagues or clients does not raise the price.
  • +
Buyers who want broad model coverage. The homepage lists 14 or more AI systems, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Grok, Copilot, Mistral, DeepSeek and Meta AI. Starter covers 3 models and Enterprise up to 11.
  • +
Teams that want to query visibility data in Claude or ChatGPT. An MCP server with 16 read-only tools uses OAuth 2.1 for Claude and ChatGPT and an API key for Cursor, and is listed on all plans.

What You Can Do

What can FinSEO do?

Track brand visibility in AI answers

Track prompts across the AI systems your plan covers and see brand mentions, citation rates and competitor rankings.

Find which sources AI cites

Use source attribution to see which domains models cite, and product extraction to see which items they recommend.

Check AI crawler activity

Business and above list bot traffic analytics for AI crawler visits.

Report to clients

The homepage lists a white-label report builder. Confirm which plan includes it.

AI, API & MCP

Does FinSEO Have an MCP Server, API and AI Features?

FinSEO has an official read-only MCP server and a REST API on higher plans.

AI agent workflow

A safe agent workflow

Ask an assistant to compare visibility across time ranges, find competitor gaps and review prioritised optimisation tasks, then act on them yourself.

Approval boundary: The MCP tools are read-only, so an assistant cannot change prompts or projects. Any edits happen in the dashboard.

FinSEO prices by tracked prompts and plan tier, with a 15% discount for yearly billing and upgrades or downgrades at any time. Earlier records showed demo-only plans and a €250 entry price, which the current page does not match. Prices below are monthly.

What each plan gates

Starter: 1 project, daily or weekly tracking. Business adds attribution, tasks and bot traffic analytics. Growth adds five projects, API access and webhooks, and priority support. Enterprise is a managed service with custom prompts, unlimited projects and dedicated onboarding. All plans list unlimited seats and MCP access.

Trial

Starter offers 7 days free, and FinSEO recommends a discovery call to pick the plan.

Conflicting earlier figures

Earlier records listed answers per month, content pieces, credits and 22 native integrations per plan. The homepage now claims 200+ integrations, so confirm counts before buying.

Downsides

Limitations to consider before subscribing

!

API access starts at €479

The Growth plan lists the API and webhooks, so Starter and Business are dashboard and MCP only.

!

MCP is read-only

An assistant can query data but cannot create prompts or change projects.

!

Prompt caps by plan

50, 150 and 350 prompts on the three public plans, so multi-client work needs Growth or Enterprise.

!

Starter covers only 3 models

Model coverage widens on higher tiers, up to 11 on Enterprise.

!

Earlier plan details disagree

Older records show demo-only plans and different limits, so verify allowances on the live page.

My Recommendation

Should You Choose FinSEO?

Shortlist FinSEO if you want AI visibility tracking with unlimited seats, broad model coverage and a read-only MCP server.

Choose Otterly.AI for the lowest price, Promptwatch for API and content tools at a low cost, or Peec AI for a simple dashboard.

What to check during the trial

  • –Start the Starter trial and add your real prompts.
  • –Check which 3 models Starter covers and whether they match your buyers.
  • –Confirm which plan includes white-label reports and bot traffic analytics.
  • –Connect Claude with OAuth and test the read-only tools.
