The Verdict
Is Finseo right for you?
Finseo (finseo.ai) is a German AI-visibility platform for brands that want to know, every day, how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google's AI results, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral talk about them. It tracks mentions, citations, sentiment and competitor rankings across those models, shows which sources the models cite, separates bot from human traffic, and produces AI-ready content on top.
The customer wall (Kellogg's, Panasonic, Würth, Jägermeister, Raiffeisen) tells you who this is built for: established brands, heavily in the DACH region, not solo founders.
The most enterprise-shaped GEO tracker I have reviewed, and one of the few with a genuine developer story. Tracking depth is strong: 100 prompts and 9,000 AI answers a month on the entry plan, daily updates across 8 models, competitor and source analysis, plus bot-traffic analytics most rivals skip.
For builders there is an official remote MCP server and a documented REST API with an OpenAPI spec, which puts it in rare company in this category. The deal-breaker for many: there is no public price for anything. Business, Enterprise and Managed Service are all 'Book a demo', there is no free plan, and the old self-serve tier looks retired. If you have procurement and a budget, book the demo.
If you are a founder with a credit card, look at the self-serve alternatives.
Finseo tracks your brand daily across 8 AI models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral) with unlimited team seats on every plan . It ships an official MCP server and a documented REST API (OpenAPI 3.1, scoped keys, published rate limits). Pricing is fully demo-gated : no public numbers, no free plan. EU procurement is a first-class citizen: invoice billing, PO workflow, DPA and German AVV.
Who It's For
The right fit (and the wrong one)
✓Best for
- +Enterprise and mid-size brand teams Daily tracking across 8 models with competitor rankings, sentiment and source analysis, plus QBRs and a dedicated success manager on Enterprise. The Kellogg's and Panasonic logos are the intended buyer profile.
- +EU and DACH companies with procurement requirements Invoice billing, PO workflows, custom SLA, DPA and German AVV contracts are on the menu. That paperwork alone rules out most US-first GEO tools for regulated European buyers.
- +Agencies reporting on AI visibility The white-label report builder, unlimited seats and 22 native integrations make client reporting cheap to operate, and the Managed Service tier hands the whole job to Finseo.
- +Teams wiring AI visibility into their own stack The official MCP server lets Claude or Cursor query your visibility data conversationally, and the REST API (with bulk export and webhooks) feeds dashboards and automations.
✗Skip this if
- −Solo founders and small sites There is no self-serve plan, no free plan and no visible trial. Demo-gated platforms of this shape rarely make sense below four figures a year, and cheaper self-serve trackers cover small-site needs.
- −Buyers who need a price on the page Finseo publishes capacity numbers (prompts, answers, content pieces) but not one price. If sales calls annoy you, this will annoy you.
- −Teams that want a content autopilot Content here is quota-based and supervised (10 pieces a month on Business). If you want plan-write-publish automation, the autopilot tools are a different lane.
- −Agents that need write access The MCP server's 7 tools are all read: metrics, prompts, rankings, sources, fanouts. Managing projects or adding prompts programmatically needs the REST API with a write-scoped key.

Features
What can Finseo do?
The tracking core is the reason to buy. Finseo runs your prompt set against 8 AI models every day (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and the newer AI Mode, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral) and turns the answers into mention rates, citation sources, sentiment and competitor rankings. The Business plan's quota of 100 tracked prompts and 9,000 AI answers a month is real capacity for a serious brand, and query fanouts show how models decompose a question before answering it, which is useful and still rare.
Two features separate it from the tracker crowd. First, traffic analytics that split AI bot crawlers from human visitors, so you can see whether AI answers send people to you, not just whether you get mentioned. Second, the report builder is white-label, which combined with unlimited seats makes Finseo unusually agency-friendly for an enterprise product.
The content side is deliberately conservative: 10 AI-produced pieces a month on Business, 75 on Enterprise, and done-for-you production plus Reddit and community management on Managed Service. This is not an autopilot that floods your CMS, and for the brands Finseo targets that restraint is a feature. AI Agent credits (1,000 to 7,500 a month) power the in-app assistant on top.

Is Finseo easy to use?
The product itself looks polished and dashboard-first (brand cockpit, report builder, integrations gallery), and unlimited seats means you can hand access to everyone without a licensing spreadsheet. Onboarding is sales-led by design: Enterprise includes expert setup and a kickoff workshop, so expect a guided start rather than a self-serve wander.
Support scales with the plan: Business gets standard support, Enterprise adds a dedicated success manager with monthly reporting and QBRs, and Managed Service is effectively Finseo operating the channel for you. The company is German, which shows up in the good way: DPA and AVV contracts, invoice billing and EU data-handling conversations are native here, not an afterthought. I have not run a paid instance, so I cannot speak to day-two reliability firsthand.
Pricing
How much does Finseo cost?
Finseo starts at Custom pricing.
Here is everything Finseo publishes about price: nothing. Business (marked most popular), Enterprise and Managed Service are all 'Book a demo', with no numbers on the page, no free plan and no visible trial. What they do publish is capacity: Business gets 100 prompts, 9,000 AI answers a month, 1 website, 10 content pieces and 1,000 AI Agent credits; Enterprise goes custom with 75 content pieces and 7,500 credits; Managed Service adds done-for-you content and community management.
Every plan has unlimited seats and daily updates.
Two context points from my research. Third-party sources cite a retired self-serve Creator tier around €99 a month, and Finseo's own docs still reference Creator and Agency plans in the rate-limit tables, so the move to demo-only pricing looks recent, and the company is clearly aiming upmarket. Use the demo to pin down the annual number, the contract term and what happens to your data at renewal time, because none of that is public.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Finseo does not publish prices. All three plans (Business, Enterprise, Managed Service) are sold via 'Book a demo' with no public numbers, no free plan and no visible trial. Third-party sources cite a retired self-serve tier around €99/month, but the current pricing is quote-based, so budget for a sales conversation.
Eight concurrently, on every plan: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral, with daily updates. The Business plan covers 100 tracked prompts and 9,000 AI answers per month.
Yes, a documented REST API at app.finseo.ai/api/v1 with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, Bearer API keys scoped to read, write and export, published rate limits (60 to 600 requests/minute by plan) and endpoints for projects, prompts, metrics, competitors, sources, tags, attribution and bulk export. API keys are available on paid plans only.
Yes, an official remote one at https://api.finseo.ai/v1/mcp. It authenticates with a Bearer API key (read scope) and exposes 7 tools covering projects, visibility metrics, prompts, competitor rankings, top sources, tags and query fanouts, with documented setup for Claude Desktop and Cursor. The tools are read-only.
This is one of its strongest cards. Finseo is a German company and offers DPA and German AVV contracts, invoice billing with PO workflows and custom SLAs on Enterprise, which makes it one of the easier GEO platforms to get through EU procurement.
There are no public prices at all. All three plans (Business, Enterprise, Managed Service) are 'Book a demo', so your real cost comes out of a sales conversation. Third-party sources cite a retired self-serve tier around €99/month, and the docs still reference old plan names, which tells me the pricing moved upmarket recently. The one predictable part: unlimited team seats on every plan, so headcount never inflates the bill.
One of the better agent stacks in the GEO category. There is an official remote MCP server (plain Bearer API key, 7 read tools covering projects, visibility metrics, prompts, competitor rankings, top sources, tags and query fanouts), a documented REST API with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, scoped keys, published per-plan rate limits, and llms.txt on both the site and the docs. Two things hold it back: API keys require a paid plan and every plan is demo-gated, and the MCP surface is read-only.
Better than most demo-sold platforms. The REST API has a dedicated export scope and a bulk-export endpoint, so your tracking data is programmatically portable, and content pieces land in your own CMS through the integrations. Tracking history itself lives in Finseo, and contract terms are negotiated per deal, so pin down term length and data retention in the demo.
