What is the Kit MCP server?

Kit runs an official MCP server at app.kit.com/mcp (HTTP transport, documented at developers.kit.com/mcp/kit-mcp). Authentication is OAuth: connecting from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor opens a Kit sign-in flow, and the token is scoped to your creator account. No API keys to paste around.

The server maps the full v4 API surface: subscribers, tags, segments, custom fields, sequences and broadcasts, including write operations like composing and scheduling a broadcast. Write and destructive tools carry safety annotations, so a client like Claude asks for confirmation before anything irreversible. Rate limit is 120 requests per minute per token, and it is available on the paid Creator and Creator Pro plans.

Kit also ships a second, separate MCP for developers: the Kit Developer Docs MCP at developers.kit.com/mcp gives coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf) live access to the full API reference. One MCP to act on your account, one to build against the platform. Very few email tools offer either, let alone both.
