Which AI clients can use Tidio MCP?
Not every AI assistant supports MCP natively. Per-client picture for Tidio:
| Client | Support | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Claude (Desktop/Web) | Not supported | No Tidio MCP server to connect to; Lyro consumes MCP tools rather than exposing one. |
| Cursor | Not supported | No platform MCP server; integrate via the REST API instead. |
| n8n | API-only (custom code) | Integrate via the REST API (every plan) and webhooks (Plus tier). |
Tidio also publishes a REST API
Tidio publishes an API, but per-tier gating wasn't extracted automatically.
Limits and gotchas
- Fallback: the REST API works for any flow the MCP server doesn't cover.
- No MCP available — until Tidio ships one, use the REST API directly.
Agent-readiness verdict
Lyro can call external MCP tools, which is ahead of rival support bots, but Tidio exposes no MCP server for an outside agent to drive Tidio itself. Useful in one direction, absent in the other. A 4 out of 10.
