Does Tidio have an MCP server?

Tidio's MCP story runs in one direction, and it is worth being precise about which. Lyro, the AI agent you build in Tidio, can integrate with your systems via the Model Context Protocol, alongside REST API, webhooks and JS actions. That means Lyro can call external MCP tools to look something up or take an action while answering a customer.

That puts Tidio ahead of most turnkey support bots (Chatbase, for example, has no MCP in either direction). For a support tool, letting the agent reach into your stack over MCP is a genuinely useful, forward-looking capability.

What Tidio does not offer is the other direction: there is no Tidio-hosted MCP server that an external agent like Claude or Cursor could connect to in order to manage Tidio itself (create flows, read conversations, configure the account). So Tidio is an MCP consumer through Lyro, not an MCP-driven platform.

Which AI clients can use Tidio MCP?

Not every AI assistant supports MCP natively. Per-client picture for Tidio:

ClientSupportNotes
Claude (Desktop/Web)Not supportedNo Tidio MCP server to connect to; Lyro consumes MCP tools rather than exposing one.
CursorNot supportedNo platform MCP server; integrate via the REST API instead.
n8nAPI-only (custom code)Integrate via the REST API (every plan) and webhooks (Plus tier).

Tidio also publishes a REST API

Tidio publishes an API, but per-tier gating wasn't extracted automatically.

Limits and gotchas

  • Fallback: the REST API works for any flow the MCP server doesn't cover.
  • No MCP available — until Tidio ships one, use the REST API directly.
4/10

Agent-readiness verdict

Lyro can call external MCP tools, which is ahead of rival support bots, but Tidio exposes no MCP server for an outside agent to drive Tidio itself. Useful in one direction, absent in the other. A 4 out of 10.
