What Kajabi exposes
I access Kajabi's data through a REST API covering contacts, offers, purchases, courses, and site activity, authenticated via OAuth. A community-built MCP server is available on GitHub (nerraaiAssistantBot/kajabi-mcp), so I can wire Kajabi into Claude or other MCP clients without writing glue code. Webhooks fire on events like purchases, form submissions, and member activity, which keeps my downstream systems in sync without polling. Zapier and Make are both supported, giving me no-code paths to CRMs, email tools, and spreadsheets. An OpenAPI spec is published at api.kajabi.com/openapi.yaml, which I use to generate clients in whatever language I need since no official SDKs are listed. No native ChatGPT or Claude plugin exists today.
How to connect Kajabi MCP to Claude Desktop
Add this block to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS) or %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json (Windows), then restart Claude Desktop. Cursor and Codex use a similar schema.

Limits and gotchas
- Official MCP server — published by Kajabi themselves, so it should track product changes.
- Fallback: the REST API works for any flow the MCP server doesn't cover.
- Auth flow: MCP servers usually inherit the underlying API auth method (oauth). Expect to configure that on first install.
- Rate limits: MCP calls count against your underlying Kajabi API quota. Burst usage from a curious agent can drain a daily allowance fast.
Agent-readiness verdict
Worth wiring up if you're technical enough to self-host a Node repo and you treat it as a power-user shortcut, not infrastructure. Solo creators and small teams running Kajabi as their whole business should not bet critical workflows on a community server with no SLA.
Mixed agent potential. Kajabi has a community MCP server and documented public API with OAuth, but lacks an official MCP, OpenAPI spec, and structured outputs support. Plan to build custom integrations if you're serious about agent automation.
