Is WoopSocial right for you?

WoopSocial is an AI social media scheduler that generates, schedules and publishes content to seven networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube). On the surface it is one more entry in a crowded category that already includes Buffer, Ayrshare and Zernio.

The reason it lands on a site about AI-stack fit is the plumbing underneath: it ships a native MCP server, a REST API with a published OpenAPI spec, and webhooks, all reachable from a $19 plan. That is more agent-readiness than most schedulers offer at any price.

The honest caveat is that this is a young product with little public track record, so I am rating the capability high and the maturity low.

One of the more agent-ready schedulers I have looked at, sold at a beginner-friendly price. A documented native MCP server lets Claude Cowork, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor drive posting over OAuth, and a REST API with webhooks covers everything else, on a plan that costs $19. Most tools reserve that for enterprise or skip it entirely.

The reasons I am holding the overall score at a 6 are about maturity and polish, not capability. WoopSocial is new, third-party reviews are thin, the dashboard itself is not especially intuitive, there is no mobile app and no bulk-post feature yet, and AI generation is credit-metered. Great plumbing, rough product. Trial it on the free plan before you trust it with a brand.

Skip this if

  • People who want a polished, intuitive dashboard The interface is not especially intuitive: finding your way around takes more clicking and guessing than it should for a scheduler. If you want a tool that explains itself, this is not yet it.
  • Teams that need a mobile app or bulk posting User reviews flag the lack of a mobile scheduling app and the absence of a bulk-upload feature. If you post on the go or load weeks of content at once, that friction is real.

What can WoopSocial do?

At its core WoopSocial does what every scheduler does: connect your social accounts, draft content (with AI help), and queue it to publish across seven networks from one calendar. It covers the mainstream set: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube. The pitch on the homepage is the usual time-saving one, cutting posting across apps down to a single workflow. On that level it is competent but not differentiated from Buffer or Publer.

The agent stack is what moved WoopSocial onto my radar. It ships a native MCP server at api.woopsocial.com/mcp over HTTP transport, with OAuth for Claude Code, Codex and Notion, plus an API-key URL form for other agents. Setup in Claude Code is a single command (claude mcp add --transport http woopsocial). Alongside that it has a REST API with a published OpenAPI spec, webhook support and machine-readable llms.txt docs, all reachable from the $19 Pro plan.

For a tool this cheap, that is an unusually complete agent path.

Now the caveats, because they matter. The MCP and REST API are real and documented (an overview, a tools reference by domain, an OpenAPI spec and llms.txt), but there are no official SDKs. AI generation is credit-metered, so cost scales with how much you generate. And this is a new product: third-party reviews on G2 and Capterra are sparse, there is no mobile app, and users note the absence of a bulk-post feature.

The capability is genuinely ahead of its maturity.

UX & Support

Is WoopSocial easy to use?

Ease of use is where WoopSocial is weakest. The interface is not especially intuitive: the core jobs are there, but finding them takes more clicking and guessing than a scheduler should ask of you, and the onboarding does not do much to point the way. The capability is real; the polish is not there yet. On top of that, there is no mobile app, so scheduling is desktop-only, and no bulk-upload feature, so loading a lot of content at once is manual.

Support and documentation are early-stage in places but better than you would expect from a tool this young: api-reference, an MCP overview and tools reference, llms.txt and an OpenAPI spec. The gap is SDKs, there are none yet. There is no published money-back guarantee, which is fine because the free plan is your no-risk trial. Treat the free tier as the way to test reliability before you pay.

The tiers scale on three things: connected accounts, AI credits and seats. Free gives 5 accounts and 30 credits, Pro jumps to 20 accounts and 1,000 credits, Business to 100 accounts, 5,000 credits and 3 seats. The headline detail for an agent build is that the MCP server and REST API are usable from the $19 Pro plan, not gated to enterprise. Credits are the variable cost: AI content generation draws from your monthly pool, and X/Twitter posting becomes credit-based after your free posts.

The one tier that looks out of step is Max at $799/month for 2,500 accounts, 42,000 credits and 43 seats. The jump from Business ($49) to Max ($799) is steep with nothing in between, so a mid-size agency that outgrows Business has no gentle next step. Most individuals and small teams will live on Free or Pro.
