The Verdict

Is Superlines right for you?

1 tools offer free plans

Superlines (superlines.io) is an AI Search Intelligence platform from Grew Oy in Helsinki, my own city, founded back in 2020 by Kimmo Ihanus and Jere Meriluoto, which makes it a veteran in a category full of 2024 and 2025 startups.

It tracks how 10+ AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, DeepSeek, Copilot, Grok, Mistral) present your brand, and it collects from the real user interfaces rather than model APIs, so the data matches what buyers actually see.

Around the tracking sit competitive benchmarking across markets and languages, webpage AI-readiness audits, and an article generator.

A mature, well-priced middle path in the GEO category.

Superlines gives you interface-level tracking across more engines than most rivals, market and language-level competitive benchmarking that suits European multi-market brands, and a developer story most competitors still lack: an official MCP server with 27 tools (including scoped writes) and a REST API with published rate limits, on every plan from €89.

The gripes are concrete: Starter's 50 prompts and 5 articles run out fast, data history below Enterprise is only 2 months, and the jump from €89 to €379 has no middle step. But with unlimited users and brands on every plan, 7-day trials, and six years of company history behind it, this is one of the easiest GEO tools to recommend to European teams.

Superlines costs €89/month (Starter, 50 prompts, 3 engines), €379/month (Growth, 150 prompts) or custom Enterprise, with Agency Growth at €299/month ; annual billing drops Starter to €74 and Growth to €315. Every plan has unlimited users and brands, daily tracking, and both the API and the official MCP server (27 tools, scoped writes). 7-day trials, no free plan. Data history below Enterprise is 2 months.

Who It's For

The right fit (and the wrong one)

Best for

  • +
European multi-market brands Benchmarking across markets and languages with 10 available engines and EUR billing from an established Finnish company is exactly the shape of a European brand's GEO problem.
  • +
Agencies running GEO for clients The €299 Agency Growth plan (5 engines, 100 prompts, 5 seats) plus unlimited brands and Slack/Teams support is a working agency setup, with a custom tier above it.
  • +
Agent builders on a budget The official MCP server (remote, npm or self-hosted from GitHub) with 27 tools including scoped writes, plus the API, come with the €89 plan. Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable and Windsurf are all documented clients.
  • +
Teams that want fixes, not just dashboards Webpage AI-readiness audits, a Schema.org optimizer with implementation-ready JSON-LD, an action center and an article generator turn the tracking into a to-do list.

Skip this if

  • Brands with big prompt sets on small budgets Starter caps at 50 tracked prompts and the next brand tier is €379. If you need 100+ prompts cheaply, rivals price that gap more gently.
  • Teams that need long history without Enterprise Starter and Growth retain only 2 months of data. Trend analysis beyond a quarter means scheduled exports or an Enterprise contract.
  • Anyone expecting a free tier There is no free plan, only 7-day trials. If you want free ongoing tracking to start, PromptWatch's free tier covers that.
  • US-first enterprise buyers Superlines is EUR-priced and Europe-flavored. A US enterprise wanting local references and USD contracts may find Profound the more natural fit.

Features

What can Superlines do?

The data philosophy matches what I want from this category: Superlines reads the actual AI interfaces, not the model APIs, so the visibility scores reflect what a buyer sees in ChatGPT or Google's AI Mode, ads and all. Ten engines are available (you pick 3 on Starter, 5 on Agency Growth, up to all 10 on Enterprise), tracked daily, with citations, mentions, sentiment and share of voice broken out by market and language.

For a European brand fighting different competitors in different countries, that market dimension is the feature.

The optimization layer goes further than most trackers. Webpage audits score any URL for LLM-friendliness across technical and content quality, the Schema.org optimizer hands you implementation-ready JSON-LD, the AI Search Checker runs weekly audit quotas, and the article generator drafts content aimed at the gaps (5 a month on Starter, 15 on Growth). An action center turns all of it into a prioritized list.

Nothing auto-publishes, which at these article volumes is the right call.

The developer story is quietly excellent. The MCP server is properly official: source on GitHub (Superlines/mcp-server), an npm package (@superlines/mcp-server), and a hosted remote endpoint, with 27 tools spanning metrics, citations, competitive gaps, webpage audits, sentiment, content opportunities and even a strategic action plan generator, plus six write tools behind scoped permissions for managing brands and prompts.

The REST API covers the same data with published per-plan rate limits. Both come with every plan, including the €89 Starter.

UX & Support

Is Superlines easy to use?

Setup is self-serve behind a 7-day trial: pick your engines, add prompts, connect Search Console and Analytics if you want the traffic side, and the dashboard fills in daily. The docs site (docs.superlines.io) is clean, serves markdown with an llms.txt index, and covers the API, MCP setup and the GSC, GA, Slack and Looker Studio integrations. A cookbook article even walks through wiring the Superlines MCP together with a CMS MCP for a full AEO agent workflow, which tells you the team uses this stuff themselves.

Support runs email on the lower tiers and adds Slack or Teams channels plus a dedicated specialist on Enterprise and the agency plans. The company context matters here: Grew Oy has been at this since 2020, is in the Google for AI Startups Cloud Program, and publishes a steady changelog. I have not run a paid instance, so my read on output quality comes from research rather than hands-on use; the 7-day trial is the cheap way to check article and audit quality against your own site.

Pricing

How much does Superlines cost?

Superlines starts at €89/mo.

For brands there are two self-serve tiers and Enterprise. Starter is €89 a month (or €74 a month billed annually) with 3 engines of your choice, 50 tracked prompts, daily tracking, 5 AI articles a month, 10 AI-search audits a week and, notably, unlimited users and unlimited brands, plus API and MCP access. Growth is €379 a month (€315 annual) with 150 prompts, CSV, Excel and JSON exports, a monthly site crawl, 15 articles and 25 audits a week.

Enterprise goes custom: up to all 10 engines, tailored prompt volumes, all-time data history, unlimited articles and audits, weekly crawls and strategic advisory. Every tier has a 7-day trial; there is no free plan.

Agencies get their own track: Agency Growth at €299 a month with 5 engines, 100 prompts, 5 seats and advanced GEO features, and a custom Agency Enterprise above it. Two numbers to weigh before buying: the brand ladder jumps from €89 straight to €379, so a mid-size brand with 80 prompts pays the big tier, and data history below Enterprise is 2 months, so build a scheduled export (the API makes this easy) if you want your own archive.

One stale-data note: Superlines' own llms.txt still describes older plan shapes (75 prompts, 1 platform); the live pricing page is the source of truth.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

For brands: Starter €89/month (€74/month billed annually) and Growth €379/month (€315 annual), with custom Enterprise above. For agencies: Agency Growth €299/month and custom Agency Enterprise. All plans include a 7-day free trial; there is no free plan.

Ten are available: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, DeepSeek, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and Mistral. Starter picks 3, Agency Growth picks 5, and Enterprise unlocks up to all 10. Data comes from the real user interfaces, not model APIs.

Yes, an official one, delivered three ways: a hosted remote endpoint (https://mcpsse.superlines.io with your API key), the @superlines/mcp-server npm package, and open source on GitHub. It exposes 27 tools (21 reads plus 6 scoped writes for managing brands and prompts) and documents Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable and Windsurf as clients. It is included on every plan.

Yes. Bearer-authenticated access at api.superlines.io covering metrics, brand mentions, citations, queries, prompts and raw responses, with published rate limits (60/120/300 requests per minute by tier) and webhook notifications. It uses a query-parameter endpoint model and has no OpenAPI spec, so budget a little integration time.

Starter and Growth retain 2 months of data; all-time history is an Enterprise feature. If you want long trend lines without an Enterprise contract, use the API (included on every plan) or Growth's CSV/Excel/JSON exports to archive on a schedule.

Public EUR prices with real annual discounts: Starter €89/month (€74 annual), Growth €379 (€315 annual), Agency Growth €299, Enterprise custom, all behind 7-day trials. Unlimited users and brands on every plan keeps the axis clean: you pay for prompts and engines, not people. The gap to mind: €89 jumps straight to €379 for brands, with nothing in between.

One of the stronger agent stacks in the category. The official MCP server ships three ways (remote HTTP, npm package, GitHub source) and exposes 27 tools, including six write tools behind scoped permissions for managing brands and prompts. The REST API has published per-plan rate limits and covers all platform data, and both come with every plan from €89. Held back by the query-param API design, no OpenAPI spec, and the remote MCP passing your key as a URL parameter.

Mixed. The API is on every plan, so your data is programmatically reachable from day one, and Growth adds CSV, Excel and JSON exports. The catch is retention: Starter and Growth keep only 2 months of data history, with all-time history reserved for Enterprise. If long trend lines matter, export on a schedule or budget for the Enterprise conversation.
