Auth runs on OAuth, meaning you authorize the agent against your Thinkific account rather than pasting a raw key into a config file. No plan requirement is documented in the research, so I can't confirm whether MCP access is gated to a specific Thinkific tier. Check your plan before you commit a workflow to it.
Where it works and what to build
The one confirmed workflow: connect Thinkific to Claude Desktop, then ask the agent to manage your school. In practice that could mean something like "pull the enrollment list for my new cohort and flag students who haven't started lesson one," then following up with reminders, all without opening the admin panel.

Does Thinkific MCP cost extra?
