What is the Ranklytics MCP server?

Ranklytics does not run an MCP server. The only agent path is the documented REST API at developers.ranklytics.ai.

The docs do publish an llms.txt, which helps an LLM understand the API, but that is documentation for the REST API rather than a Model Context Protocol server your client can connect to directly.

Which AI clients can use Ranklytics MCP?

Not every AI assistant supports MCP natively. Per-client picture for Ranklytics:

ClientSupportNotes
Claude CodeAPI-only (custom code)No MCP server; connect through the documented REST API with an API key (Agency plan).
n8nAPI-only (custom code)No native node or MCP; integrate via the REST API and the in-app CMS connectors.

Does Ranklytics MCP cost extra?

Verify on docs

Ranklytics has no verified MCP server.

  • No published MCP integration was detected at the last check.
  • For now, agent workflows depend on the REST API or third-party automation.

Ranklytics also publishes a REST API

Ranklytics publishes an API, but per-tier gating wasn't extracted automatically.

What you can do with Ranklytics from an AI agent

Three shapes of agent workflow. Pick the row that matches how you actually use Claude / Cursor / Codex day to day.

INDIE / SOLO

Skip the dashboard, ask Claude

  • "What keywords moved this week?" answered in seconds
  • Quick one-off questions without leaving the editor
  • Pipe Ranklytics data into your personal notes / docs without writing a script
Effort: 30 seconds — paste the config, restart Claude
AGENCY

Run client analysis at agent speed

  • Hand the MCP server to your team — every consultant can ask Claude about any client's Ranklytics account
  • Multi-account workflows without context-switching the Ranklytics UI
  • Reports you'd normally spend hours on, done before standup
Effort: An afternoon — set up auth per client
IN-HOUSE TEAM

Production agent workflows

  • Embed in your internal Codex / Cursor agents that triage Ranklytics data daily
  • Combine with other MCP servers in a multi-step agent chain
  • Constrain agents to read-only roles to keep production Ranklytics safe
Effort: Days — security review + role config

Limits and gotchas

  • Fallback: the REST API works for any flow the MCP server doesn't cover.
  • Rate limits: MCP calls count against your underlying Ranklytics API quota. Burst usage from a curious agent can drain a daily allowance fast.
  • No MCP available — until Ranklytics ships one, use the REST API directly.
2/10

Agent-readiness verdict

There is no MCP server. Agent access is through the REST API only (gated to the Agency plan), so on native agent connectivity Ranklytics scores low, even though the underlying API is real.
