JetOctopus Pricing: $337/mo Base Package, No Free Plan

JetOctopus keeps its pricing page simple on the surface: one base package at $337/month billed annually, then a custom quote for anything bigger. That simplicity hides a real cost trap though, because crawl pages, log lines, and GSC/GA properties beyond the base allowance all get billed à la carte.

Recommendation

Which plan should you choose?

+
Base Package (500K Pages)Large ecommerce or publisher sites (100K to 500K pages)

The base allowance of 500K crawl pages and 2M log lines covers most large catalog or content sites without triggering add-on charges.

+
Unlimited / Enterprise PackageEnterprise sites over 500K pages or with heavy log volume

You'll blow past the base package's limits fast, and a custom quote lets you scope crawl and log allowances to your actual site size instead of paying per-overage.

+
Base Package (500K Pages)Agencies managing several large clients

Unlimited seats and unlimited projects mean you can run multiple client sites under one subscription, as long as combined crawl pages and log lines stay under the base caps.

Not a fitSmall business sites or blogs under 10,000 pages

$337/month for 500K pages of headroom you'll never use is a poor match. Something like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb covers small-to-mid sites at a fraction of the cost.

JetOctopus has no MCP server, so native AI-assistant workflows aren't possible yet. You'd need to build against its REST API or route through Zapier or Make instead.

My take on JetOctopus pricing

Joonas Rotko
Joonas RotkoAuthor & founder of That Marketing Buddy

$337 a month is a real commitment before you've crawled a single page, and it's billed annually, so you're looking at $4,044 upfront with a 7-day trial to decide if it's the right fit. For a large publisher or ecommerce site with 500K+ pages and real log file volume, that price buys six modules, unlimited seats, and unlimited projects in one package, which is generous compared to per-seat enterprise crawlers.

The catch is the à la carte model. Go over 500K pages, 2M log lines, or 3 GSC/GA properties, and you're paying extra on top of the base price. That's manageable if you know your site's numbers going in, but it means the 'starting price' isn't necessarily your final invoice if your site grows mid-contract.

On the AI-agent side, there's no MCP server here, so you can't plug JetOctopus straight into Claude or another AI assistant the way you can with tools like Screaming Frog or Botify, both of which have MCP servers. You do get a documented REST API with no SDK, which works for scheduled crawls, custom dashboards, or piping log data into a warehouse if you're comfortable hitting endpoints with plain HTTP.

I'd treat the JetOctopus API as a build-it-yourself automation layer, not a plug-and-play one.

Annual Billing Only

The $337/month figure is what you get with annual billing ($4,044/year upfront). JetOctopus doesn't publish a pay-monthly rate to compare it against, so there's no visible discount, that's simply the price.

Verdict

Is JetOctopus Worth the Price?

For a site with 300K to 500K pages that generates enough log data to actually need bot-behavior tracking, the base package's $337/month covers a lot of ground: crawling, log analysis, and Google Search Console/Analytics integration in one place, with unlimited seats. If your site sits well under that page count, you're paying for headroom you won't use, and cheaper crawlers will do the job.

The à la carte overages are the part to watch closely. If your page count or log volume fluctuates seasonally (think ecommerce during peak sales), you could end up paying more than the base $4,044/year without much warning unless you're tracking usage closely. On AI-stack fit specifically: there's no MCP server, so this isn't a tool you connect to Claude or another assistant natively today.

The REST API works for building your own automation or data pipelines, but that's a developer task, not a five-minute setup. If native AI-agent support matters more to you than crawl depth, that's a real gap to weigh against the price.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. JetOctopus doesn't offer a free tier. You get a 7-day free trial to test the base package before committing to annual billing.

The base package is $337/month, billed annually at $4,044/year. This covers 500K crawl pages (or 250K JS pages), 2M log lines, 3 GSC properties, and 3 GA properties. JetOctopus doesn't publish a pay-monthly rate.

You pay extra. Additional crawl pages, log lines, and GSC/GA properties beyond the base package's allowances are sold à la carte, on top of the $337/month base price.

The published $337/month price is already the annual-billing rate. JetOctopus doesn't list a separate monthly-pay-as-you-go price, so there's no side-by-side discount to compare.

No. There's no money-back guarantee listed. The 7-day free trial is the main way to test the platform risk-free before your annual subscription starts.

Not natively. JetOctopus has no MCP server, so you can't plug it directly into an AI assistant the way you can with some competitors. You can still hit its documented REST API for custom automations, scheduled jobs, or third-party tools like Zapier or Make. See the JetOctopus API page for details.

JetOctopus doesn't publish specifics for this tier. It's positioned for very large sites that exceed the base package's 500K page or 2M log line allowances, and pricing is handled through a custom quote rather than the standard calculator.
